The Ghost Guest's 4th Birthday Party!

Last week I celebrated the fourth birthday of The Ghost Guest! May 19th marked four years to the day that I wrote my first blog post. What was the first blog post? It was a recipe that the BF made me (it was really good, so I kept him around). In celebration of four years of food blogging, I threw a little birthday party at Chicago's Public Hotel. The hotel was kind enough to let us take over their beautiful Screening Room and Library Bar. It was the perfect classy, yet comfortable setting for the party.

The evening included a raffle with fantastic prizes from some of my favorite restaurants. Kinda like Oprah's favorite things, but way more delicious (you get a gift card, and you get a gift card, and you get a gift card!).

As a thank you for attending, each guest received a red velvet cupcake courtesy of Sprinkles Cupcakes. Sprinkles kindly donated the yummy cupcakes which had a cute little ghost on top! They were definitely a hit and I may or may not have eaten multiple :-O. Guests were also encouraged to tag their Sprinkles moments with hashtag #sprinklesghostguest.
